Systems design

Systems design is one of our base services. We produce specifications from preliminary designs to full final submissions to class and flag authorities. We carry a full range of the class regulations and have the experience to produce designs, which not only comply, but are also tailored to suit the marine environment, and not just variations on land based systems. We intend to provide systems, which are simple to install and operate with the minimum of complications.

We will produce designs for gaseous and water based systems. Specifications include:

• Component specifications
• Hydraulic calculations
• Parts lists
• Drawings
• Certification

As part of our service we would liaise with the class or flag authority on your behalf, if required, to ensure the swift passage of the specification through approval procedure.

Project Management

Part of our service is to see your system through to the final commissioning phase. we can do this by providing on site supervision of your or docks labour to ensure the correct installation of the system and attend the test and commissioning stage with the surveyor on site.

We can provide just a commissioning engineer if this is more suited to the customer and you have confidence in the installation. For larger vessels we can provide ongoing distance project management with a contact point for your onsite supervisor. We are very flexible and can provide quotes for any combination of the above.
