EXTINGUISHERS

Ocean Engineering (Fire) Ltd, supply a wide range of fire extinguishers to the Marine and Offshore Industry, and all Commercial Premises.

All our extinguishers carry the BS EN3 approval and the relevant marine approvals.

HOSES

We supply a wide range of approved fire hoses of a very high quality, widely used by the marine and offshore industries.

Manufactured with an all synthetic woven polyester jacket for light weight and strength, and a smooth black low friction-loss synthetic rubber lining, they are tough, hard-wearing and yet still flexible and easy to handle.

The all synthetic construction makes them rot proof and easy to clean.

FOAM INDUCTORS

Variable Inline Foam Inductors provide a simple cost effective means of introducing foam concentrates into the water stream. They are calibrated to pick up between 1% and 6% foam concentrate. The standard unit is manufactured in corrosion resistant materials.

A fully marinised unit is available for continuous use with sea water in particularly harsh marine environments. Inductors are designed to match Low and Medium Expansion foam branch pipes, all marine approved.

MOBILE FOAM UNITS

A range of mobile foam equipment is designed to be wheeled into position quickly and easily.

The AF120 Mk2 mobile foam unit comprises a 120 litre glass fibre foam concentrate tank, variable foam inductor with shut-off valve, foam branch pipe and two lengths of Duraline fire hose.

MARINE FIRE FIGHTING NOZZLES & COUPLINGS

Branch pipes provide an adjustable nozzle for altering the curtain of water from a narrow spray to a wide spray. Fire Hose Nozzles provide a fixed jet of water.

The basic branch pipe according to BS 336 has an 2.5" inlet male instantaneous and outlet threaded 1.33" BSP male for either a plain jet or a branch pipe adjustable nozzle. The branch pipe is controlled from 'shut off' through 'jet' and 'spray' to wide-angle 'curtain' by rotating the annular sleeve.
